▪ Federico has over 30 years’ experience in Investment Banking in Asia and Emerging Markets. Prior to joining VCM, he was the Head of Origination and M&A for Europe and MENA at CITIC Securities as Managing Director responsible for establishing the International Equity platform of the group, expanding European and China cross border capital markets activity.
▪ Federico has focused on Asian capital markets since the beginning of his career at Merrill Lynch in Tokyo and then WI Carr in London and Hong Kong for 12 years, managing the Asian Equity Capital Markets division. He was later Head of Asian Capital Markets at BNP Paribas stationed in London and in Hong Kong before becoming Head of Global Emerging Markets in 1998. Federico moved back to Hong Kong in 2008.
▪ In his leadership roles, Federico generated landmark M&A cross border transactions in various sectors including Healthcare, Consumer (F&B, Fashion and Apparel), Sport, Manufacturing, Technology and Environmental including, among others Salov/Bright Food, AC Milan, and Syngenta. Federico has led several listings on the HKEX including the IPO of BYD, Tencent, SmartTone, New World Infrastructure, Nine Dragon Paper, Ping An Insurance, Agricultural Bank, JD Logistic, Lufax Holding, Fosun Tourism Group, Legend Holdings, Prada Spa, Xiaomi. On other Asian exchanges, listings include Adani Ports, ICICI, Telecom Asia, Siam Makro, Indosat, and YTL Power.
