Christopher Berney is a seasoned finance professional on 3 continents over the last 20 years. He spent much of his time heavily involved in capital markets as a banker and trader in London, Frankfurt and HK. With his strong knowledge of research, structuring and capital raising, he moved to Indonesia in 2013 to start in the real estate industry. Chris started first as a broker with Elite Havens (previously part-owned by Knight Frank), to understand the market, build his network with key participants in the market, increase his knowledge and create a network for deal flow. He then launched NTB Capital as a real estate investment manager to start structuring real estate investments taking advantage of under-researched areas and putting compelling investment stories together to capitalize on them. He heads up BVR Group Asia’s Investments Division with purpose and a strong drive to deliver superior risk-adjusted returns and a pipeline of private deals he is working on.
