Gabriel is Executive Director of Crescent Management Limited, a boutique financial and strategy advisory in HK. Prior to founding Crescent, Gabriel was the head of finance, risk and compliance and responsible officer of a leading hedge fund in Hong Kong, where he oversaw non-investment business functions. He also worked for Merrill Lynch, Gottex Fund Management, Daiwa Securities America and Goldman Sachs Co. in New York in a range of portfolio management, trading, investment research and risk roles. Gabriel holds master degrees from Carnegie Mellon University and University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign. He is presently the chapter secretary of the Association of Family Offices in Asia, a Fellow of CPA Australia and is fluent in Cantonese, English and Mandarin.
