Willem Glorie is an Executive Director and portfolio manager within the Fixed Income team at LGT Capital Partners. He is the head of the EM Corporate Credit team and is based in Hong Kong. Mr. Glorie initiated the EM corporate activities when joining the firm in Switzerland in 2014. He relocated and set up the fixed income activities in Hong Kong in 2018. Prior he worked at Dexia Bank in Brussels where he started his career on the Sell-Side in the equities division. He became a Fixed Income Strategist in 2009. Mr. Glorie holds a Bachelor’s degree as well as a Master’s degree in Applied Economic Sciences with a major in Finance from the University of Antwerp. Furthermore, he holds a Master of Business Administration from the IESE Business School in Barcelona and is a CFA Charterholder. In Hong Kong, he is a Board Member of the Belgium-Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce and the President of the local Alumni chapter of IESE Business School.
