Having spent 12 years in the finance industry, Mike has assumed roles encompassing multiple aspects of an asset management industry including a fund manager, board director, capital allocator, shareholder, and senior executive. He founded and ran his own Singapore based hedge fund, from 2017 to 2022 during which he served as Chief Executive Officer, Responsible Officer, Risk and Compliance Officer and Portfolio Manager. As a fund manager he ran a Global Macroeconomic strategy, with best returns with an average of 13% nett in a year. Mike spearheaded the selection, investment, and risk due diligence of funds. He handled the licensing process with the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS), onsite audit and ongoing interaction with various regulators. He negotiated fund documents and legal documents with Prime Brokers, Fund Administrators, other service providers and investors. In addition, he fundraised with seeders, family offices, private banks and institutions.
