Karim came from banking and derivatives before venturing into the blockchain and fintech space. His career in Fintech and Blockchain started with his move to Singapore in 2015, where he dedicated 7 years to working with startups and at a venture builder focused on Core Banking Technology, where he set up and managed new ventures in Singapore, the Philippines, Australia, and the UK.

He has been listed as one of the top 100 Fintech influencers globally by Onalytica, holds interviews on BTCN.tv and is a regular speaker and host at events across South East Asia and Europe. In the past year, he started working as a producer on Our Broken Chains, a documentary about race, inequality, and the economic impact of racism. Karim is also fluent in multiple languages including English, French and German.
