Alimzhan graduated from Syracuse University in New York with degrees in Computer Science and Information Management. He has worked in various roles within the government, quasi-government, and business sectors in both the United States and Kazakhstan, primarily focusing on IT management.
Currently, he leads PhoenixLab, a software development company that handles outsourced and startup projects, particularly in the automotive and financial industries. One of their recent projects is a local cars marketplace, aster.kz.
In addition, Alimzhan is soon launching a new fully remote IT company, createra.com, which will operate on a broader scale beyond Kazakhstan.
