As the General manager at MRANTI, Peter is now focusing on building the technology startup ecosystem in Malaysia, Peter had spent more than 25 years in the private & public sectors specializing in the areas of engineering and ICT, Industry 4.0 tech, strategic planning, investment consulting, project management, manufacturing operations & education. Peter currently heads the International Innovation Hub under the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation of Malaysia, responsible for building the first national Drone Tech COE, Autonomous Vehicles test site, 4IR Flexible Manufacturing Center, 5G Tech, Bioscience Tech center and a Makerslab prototyping facility. Peter has extensive experience in securing international partnerships from Asia and Europe and brought in over USD4 billion of foreign direct investment by large multinational companies. Peter facilitated clients to identify strategic and cost effective locations for setting up their operations. Peter is also the key strategist and negotiator for MNC corporations & the government. Peter had led closure of large-scale deals involving special incentive packages, development contracts, loan/financing etc. Sectors involved include Information Technology, BFSI, Oil and Gas, Electronics, Education, Mining, Property, Hospitality, Manufacturing, Global Outsourcing & Industry 4.0
