<p>Gagan is the founder / Managing Director of Singapore Merchant Capital Partners, a Singapore based boutique firm specialising in origination and advising select clients on various corporate and commercial matters including strategy and business planning, mergers &amp; acquisitions, capital raising, strategic ventures.</p><p>Gagan has strong M&amp;A and commercial background having served as listed companies’ CFO / CCO / VP and held M&amp;A / Corporate Finance Advisory and Private Equity positions with prominent firms. Gagan served as the Chief Financial Officer / Chief Commercial Officer for Challenger Energy Group PLC (LSE AIM listed), as the CEO of a privately held telecom infrastructure services business in Indonesia and as the VP – Corporate &amp; Commercial at Dart Energy Limited (ASX listed) responsible for mergers &amp; acquisitions, capital raising, corporate planning and ASX reporting. Early in his career, Gagan worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers in Assurance and M&amp;A / Corporate finance advisory practice and held certain direct investments / private equity roles.</p><p>Gagan holds an MBA from the National University of Singapore and is a qualified chartered accountant (FCCA and CA (Singapore)).</p>
