Christopher Tay graduated with a Bachelor of Science (Economics) Honours with a major in Management Studies from the University of London and an MBA (Hospitality Tourism management) from Nanyang Business School, Nanyang Technological University of Singapore (both degrees with scholarships) and also attained a Graduate Certificate in Business Research from the University of Newcastle, Australia. He is also a Chartered Marketer with the CIMUK and holds various graduate Diplomas; Graduate Diploma in Marketing from the Marketing Institute of Singapore, Advanced Diploma in Business Administration from Associations of Business Executives (United Kingdom) and a Graduate Diploma in Marketing, Chartered Marketing Institute of United Kingdom. He also holds a doctoral degree in International Business from Paris, Horizons University. Attended Harvard Programme in Healthcare Leadership in March 2016 and currently completing his Post-Graduate in Healthcare Management and Leadership course. He was the Global Head Medical Services & Life Sciences of the Cyrus Global Group before serving in his present role as the CEO of APSN a Social Service Agency. Currently, he is the CEO of The Prestige Hospital in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. Work Experience Christopher Tay has an illustrious and varied work experience where he started his career in the Singapore Armed Forces as an officer and quickly rose to senior ranks and various key and strategic appointments before retiring early to pursue his private sector career. He has served as the Group CEO of DRx Medical Aesthetics group after a stint as Director of Operations and Business Development with a Singapore Medical Aesthetics group, ClearSK. His previous corporate experiences include – Managing Director of Jackson Pharmaceutical Company (start-up group), Deputy Group CEO of Singapore Main-Board listed, Richland Group Pte Ltd, Chief Executive Officer, NTUC Healthcare Cooperative Limited, Chief Operations Officer, Tan Tock Seng Hospital, General Manager/Director, BRF Holidays Travel, General Manager, Bintan Resort Ferries and Assistant Director, Corporate Development & Services (SembCorp/Salim Venture). His valuable business experiences and extensive business and social network, both in Singapore and regionally, motivated him to become an entrepreneur where he co-founded a Healthcare group, Sensori Holdings which has 3 main business entities; Pharmaceutical, Medical/Hospital Services and Medical supplies/trading. He was largely responsible, together with his Group Chairman and CFO, for the eventual public listing of the China Pharmaceutical company, Hubei Mingkang Pharmaceutical Limited in the USA OTCBB in September 2011. Christopher was also the Project Consultant to NTUC Income for Group Health insurance and ST Electronics-ISS for eSCM and eHealth. He had successfully led a Singapore medical and operations team to help start up a Chinese hospital in Xian and has been working on adhoc hospital consultancy works mainly in China. He had also led a successful first Public-Private project in the Novena Medical Centre venture between Tan Tock Seng Hospital and the Far East Organization.
