I’m Ray Rudowski, the Managing Director of Epic Communications Limited, a firm I founded in July 2018 to focus exclusively on bringing specialized training and planning experience to clients. Another reason I created Epic Communications Ltd was to exclusively mentor clients with a specialized approach to delivering communications trainings and C-Suite Counsel.
I bring 20 years of solid experience in gained through working with most of Asia’s biggest brands and across a wide range of industry sectors. I’ve been widely quoted in international media including CNN, South China Morning Post, Bloomberg TV, Campaign Asia and others.
I began my consulting career leading Hill & Knowlton’s Crisis Planning & Training practice for 10 years from 2000-2010. I joined Edelman to lead the Crisis Planning & Training practice from 2010-2018. I’ve worked across all industry sectors including personal care, cosmetics, aviation, oil & gas, hospitality, pharmaceuticals, specialty and professional services.
I’ve developed and delivered trainings for CNN, Turner, Cathay Pacific, Chevron, L’Oreal, AmorePacific, Pernod Ricard, Carlsberg, Total, Shangri La, FWD, HSBC, ANZ, MGM Macau, Modern Terminals and General Electric. I’ve lead sessions across all of the major markets in Asia-Pacific including: Pakistan, India, Bangladesh, Guam, Brunei, Australia, Abu Dhabi, Laos, Cambodia and Vietnam.
Prior to embarking on a consulting career I had an award-winning career as a broadcast journalist first in Canada at Edmonton’s ITV and then in Hong Kong at both terrestrial stations ATV and TVB. I’ve been in Hong Kong since July 1995 and covered the Hong Kong Handover and President Bill Clinton’s 1998 visit to China.
