Samresh Kumar is the Chairman and CEO of SkyX Solar, a leading professional rooftop solar focussed company in Vietnam for the C&I sector, which he founded within VinaCapital, the leading investment management company in Vietnam with AUM of more than USD 3.3 billion. SkyX is developing solutions and working with multiple MNCs and local sector champions to help them advance on their sustainability agenda and at the same time help them save costs. He also serves on the Board of a couple of companies in Vietnam in Healthcare, Retail, which he helps to guide and grow.
He is a passionate business builder and an astute private equity investor with 20+ years of total experience across the world. He has structured/negotiated/closed >200 transactions, invested >USD 2.0 billion and has raised >USD 1.5 billion of capital.
He was recently conferred with the Best Entrepreneur award for Solar in Vietnam.
