Alan Lui is a highly experienced finance professional specializing in asset management and regulatory compliance. Currently, he is the RO & Managing Director at Yino Asset Management Limited, a position he has held since April 2024. In this role, Alan is instrumental in navigating the complexities of the Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) licensing process, specifically in Type 1, 4, and 9 matters. His responsibilities include overseeing compliance with the SFC's Code of Conduct and other applicable regulations, providing leadership in compliance policy development, and acting as the primary contact for all regulatory communications.
Prior to his current role, Alan served as the Head of Asset Management at China Vered Asset Management (Hong Kong) Limited from April 2019 to November 2023. Here, he independently managed proprietary trading accounts and developed hybrid investment strategies that significantly enhanced alpha generation. Alan was responsible for risk management, performance attribution, and the oversight of various asset management businesses, including equity investments and private equity funds. His leadership as Chairman of the Investment Committee involved regular performance assessments and risk scenario analyses of private equity projects.
