- May Thu Hlaing is a Founder and Managing Partner of Competency Business Solutions Co.,Ltd (CBS) and May & Partners Co., Ltd.
- CBS is providing a wide range of services such as registration of Local & Foreign company, Accounting, Internal Audit, Secretarial services, Tax advisory and HR services for both Local and Foreign company.
- Before setting up her own accounting firm (CBS) in 2013 she started her career with Max Myanmar Co., Ltd as Account Assistant after she graduated in year 2003.
- In year 2006, she went to Singapore for further study ACCA and worked as Account Supervisor role in Local Freight Forwarding Company. Upon her graduation of ACCA, she moved to Local Auditing firm. During her time in Audit firm, she handled various type of company including trading, services, NGO, manufacturing and construction. She also has taken various responsibilities in different departments including accounting, internal audit, external audit and tax advisory.
- As a successful entrepreneur, she has taken part in various stages in business which ranges from setting up strategy to giving investment advisory to clients. She keeps a proactive mindset and holds a very strong determination to complete each and every project that she has done.
