Introduction of VI Asset Management:
VI Asset Management is an independent asset management platform dedicated to the Asia Pacific region. They has local office presence in five major Asian cities, operating four business entities under the Virtus Inspire brand. The Firm has approximately US$ 11 billion of assets under management and 61 investment professionals as at 31 December 2020.
Virtus Inspire was established in 2016 to capitalise on opportunities in the fast growing Asian asset management industry with the aim of fuelling entrepreneurship at all stages. Since its inception, the firm has invested heavily in its local infrastructure platforms including local licenses, offices and technology. This has notably included expanding into the Korean market in 2019 with the acquisition of VI Asset Management Korea (formally Hi Asset Management Co., Ltd.). Today, the firms products covers the full investment spectrum with various strategies under credit, equity, multi strategy and private capital solutions.
