Ivan Wong is currently the Chief Executive of Ocean Park Corporation. Ocean Park is Hong Kong’s unique home-grown theme park with a heritage of delivering family fun and fond memories. Since its opening in January 1977 as a non-profit organization, the Park has successfully transformed into a premier international resort destination with the launch of the Hong Kong Ocean Park Marriott Hotel in October 2018 and Water World Ocean Park Hong Kong in September 2021.
Ivan has worked in the telecom, media, entertainment and information technology industry for over 20 years, specializing in business management, strategic planning and marketing. He is a Chartered Marketer in UK, Fellow of Hong Kong Institute of Marketing (FHKIM) and Fellow of Chartered Institute of Marketing (FCIM). He was awarded the Outstanding Marketing Professional Award from HKMA/TVB Awards for Marketing Excellence 2009, Asia Pacific Creativity Industries Awards 2016 from Asia Pacific Creativity Industries Association and was named as Outstanding Management by Recruit Magazine in 2018.
Ivan is currently the Chairperson of Hong Kong Institute of Marketing, Council Member of the Hong Kong Film Development Council, Board Member of the Hong Kong Society for the Blind and also Director of a social enterprise Barrier Free Access Limited.
